VC-PS-HC-CRIBLService brief
Cribl Deployment Health Check
A certified engineer reviews one Cribl environment across ten areas and hands you a prioritized report.
VC-PS-HC-CRIBLWhy this service
Cribl environments drift. Pipelines accumulate functions nobody remembers adding, routes overlap, worker groups outgrow their sizing, and the version that was current at deployment is two releases behind. None of it breaks loudly. It shows up as cost, latency and the occasional dropped event.
A health check is the cheapest way to find those issues before they become an incident. One environment, ten review areas, one report your team can act on.
Benefits
- Confidence that the deployment runs efficiently, with fewer surprises at peak
- Expert guidance on the core features you are and are not using
- Best-practice recommendations for your observability pipeline, specific to your configuration
- A prioritized, actionable report your team can work through on its own

Overview
The Cribl Deployment Health Check is a fixed-scope remote review of a single Cribl Stream or Cribl Edge environment. It evaluates the health and efficiency of the deployment, reviews how the components interact, examines data flows for bottlenecks and errors, and analyzes performance metrics against Cribl best practices.
The outcome is a detailed, prioritized health report. The check identifies common errors and bad practices in pipeline and routing configuration, and recommends changes to improve stability, performance and cost. It does not change anything in your environment.
How it works
VisiCore delivers this service remotely through scheduled working sessions led by a named VisiCore engineer who holds current Cribl and/or Splunk certifications. On-site days can be added under a separate order.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the engagement starts within one week of VisiCore accepting the signed order. The working schedule is set at the kickoff meeting.
VisiCore provides an agenda before each session, including which of your team members should attend. Sessions run one to four hours.
Every task, decision and deliverable is tracked as a ticket in the X10 client portal, so your team always has a current record of what was done and why.

Service period
90 days.
- The customer has 90 days from the start date (the "Service Period") to schedule and use the services in this brief.
- The service ends automatically at the close of the Service Period unless VisiCore agrees in writing to extend it.
- Unused portions of the service are non-refundable and non-creditable.
- VisiCore may deliver services after the Service Period if the customer gives written notice at least 30 days before it ends and VisiCore agrees.
